HomeBirth: A Song of the heart

I spent the whole day doing my favorite thing...hanging out with pregnant women and babies.
As a doula, I have had the opportunity to attend hospital births--which I am so grateful to have been invited and loved every minute.
Now that I'm training with a midwife as a Birth Assistant, I am loving the homebirth experiences...what a remarkable difference.
I've had hospital, birth center, and home births myself. Each resulted in a miracle: A baby!

And I would NEVER stand on a soapbox and tell every woman I meet that there's only one way to have a child...but I will tell you this:
if you have a choice (meaning you are risk-free) just know you have options. And those options are worth investigating.


Knowing those options and choosing for yourself is empowering.
